 Present Continuous Tense

  इस tense में मुख्य क्रिया के साथ रहा  हूं ,रही हूं , रहे हैं, का प्रयोग होता है।

उदाहरण : 

राम बाज़ार जा रहा है।

मैं खाना खा रहा हूं।

Affirmative Sentences 

Rule : Subject + is/am/are + verb 1st form+ ing + object.


For  example:

गीता खाना खा रही है।
Geeta is eating food.

सोहन किताब पढ़ रहा है।
Sohan is reading a book.

Negative Sentences

Rule : Subject + is/am/are +not+ verb 1st form+ ing + object.

इन वाक्यों में helping verb (is, am, are) के बाद not का प्रयोग होता है।


For  example:

राम घूमने नहीं जा रहा है।
Ram is not going for a walk.

मैं आज नहीं पढ़ रहा हूं।
I am not studying today.

Interrogative Sentences 

Rule : Wh family+ is/am/are + subject + verb 1st form+ ing + object? 

प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य यानी Interrogative Sentences  में   helping verb (is, am, are) Subject से पहले आ जाता है। यदि Wh family  प्रयोग होना है तो वह सबसे पहले आयेगा।


For  example:

क्या वह घूमने जा रहा है?
Is he going for a walk?

वह बच्चे तुम्हारे साथ कहां पर खेल रहे हैं?
Where are those children playing with you?

Negative Interrogative

Rule : Wh family+ is/am/are + subject +not+ verb 1st form+ ing + object?

यह भी प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों के जैसे ही होता है । इसमें फर्क इतना है कि  subject के बाद not लग जाता है

For example:

क्या राम घूमने नहीं जा रहा है?
Is Ram going for a walk?

अमन  बात क्यों नहीं कर रहा है?
Why is Aman not talking?
